Imperative
The imperative is a special form of English verbs. You use it to make
demands and
suggestions, to warn someone or to give advice.
To form a sentence using the imperative, just leave out the "to" of the infinitive:
- to listen: Listen!
- to go: Go away!
- to take a seat: Take a seat, please.
